I was technically on "bedrest" for the last 2 weeks of the pregnancy, but I was told to report to the hospital on the evening of September 12, so that we could induce the next morning. My mother had come several days before to help out & I thought it wouldn't hurt to "hurry" up the baby a little. I specifically remembering we all got up early that Monday morning, got Skyler off to school, went and ate breakfast at Cracker Barrell, & shopped all day long. About lunch time, I had to have a wheelchair in every store we went in because I felt like "the sky was falling" down below! lol Chris chauffered us around & we had so much fun laughing and cutting up all day long! We picked up Skyler from school, helped get her homework done, and then went back out again. We went to the Mexican restaurant (that's what I ate the day before I went into labor w/ Skyler) and then walked around Walmart for almost 2 hours before returning home. What a day! I can remember being so exhausted - every bone in my body ached. Except for getting up a zillion times to pee, I distinctly remember sleeping very well that night.
Some days I miss that big pregnant belly. I hope the Lord gives me the chance to do it all again!
