We had a great weekend visiting Tennessee. My brother & my sister both were able to come in for the visit and we had a great Christmas along with the wedding vow renewal ceremony for my parents.

My mother is scheduled to have surgery next Monday afternoon. She was originally to be admitted to the hospital for 7 days of "TPN" therapy, but her dr. allowed her to go home yesterday after a bag of iv fluids. This was encouraging as I know she was dreading sitting in the hospital for a week prior to surgery!

Had my 36 week appointment yesterday. Dr. T said that we will do an ultrasound on Monday & he will check her growth and compare to the last ultrasound. Since we noticed the issue with her growth a few months ago, she has grown consistently at each appointment even though she is still small for her gestational age. Dr. T says if she has not fallen any further behind, we will continue on with a projected delivery date of Dec 30 & he will be okay with me delivering her vaginally. If she falls behind anymore in growth, he said she needs to come out immediately and via c-section. So, we are praying that she is still consistent with the growth pattern she has been following and we can hold off on delivery until Dec 30. I am dilating & thinning and she has dropped a little. Saturday night, I had a round of steady hard contractions that lasted about 1.5 hours, but once I was able to rest, they went away, and boy was I happy since we were at my parents house! lol!
