My last real post was the week of Christmas. We had a great Christmas! We left on the 23rd, heading to KY, and spent a few days there with my inlaws. On the 27th, we left and headed to Nashville and spent Abby Cate's first birthday as well as the New Year with them. We headed home on the first. It was a great trip, but 10 days was a long time to be away from my bed!
January has been a whirlwind of excitement an activity. Our biggest news this month is that I now have a job in Corinth. I have been blessed to be a part of the company I am with, but driving almost 200 miles daily is wearing on my car....and on me! I will be just about 5 miles from home now! It will be sad to leave the company I am with - they are like family after so many years, but I am excited for this much needed change (my family is excited too)!
Abby Cate is sick - wheezing and coughing. She went to the dr. on Monday for her 12 month checkup and immunizations, but she was wheezing so bad, the dr. said "no" on getting her immunizations. She is now on 3-4 breathing treatments a day, cough meds, and oral prednisone. They also gave her a shot in the office - it was for her nasal congestion, so I am assuming it was a child's version of the adult sinus cocktail shot?! Everything together is helping really well - hopefully, in a few days her breathing will be sounding perfect.
