I have been ready for this weekend all week! After having a sick baby last weekend, I felt totally exhausted!
I have been coughing my head off, so last night, I decided to take some night time cough and cold meds, but it appeared to have the opposite usual effect on me. I was awake most of the night and when I drifted off to dreamland this morning, Grady decided he needed to snuggle with mommy. When he woke me up, I started coughing again. Gave up and just got up!! Now that I've had my coffee, I'm feeling much better.
Today is opening day of youth hunt in Mississippi, so Chris & Skyler hit the woods about 5:30 this morning & are currently sitting in their shooting house waiting on the "big one" to come through! They enjoy this time together & I'm glad they can share this "sport!" Grady is dying for his turn to go.
Tonight, Chris is sitting on the ordination council for a local church. Tomorrow he has been asked to preach the ordination service, so we are combining our congregations for the morning service! They are having a potluck afterwards-the ladies in these country churches can cook! Yummy!!!! I'm excited for the opportunity to fellowship with not only our church family, but also theirs as well-they have a sweet family!
I'm hearing a little girl calling my name....let's get this day rolling!!!
